In compliance with laws effective 25th May 2018 and as amended, Air Consult have built upon our existing data protection measures and accordingly provide our revised policy as follows:-

About us
Air Consult is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all individuals and takes its responsibilities regarding the security of data very seriously. We abide by the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) upheld by the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) with whom Air Consults' Data Controller, Tony Sanders, maintains registration. We are also committed to processing any personal data in a fair, reasonable, lawful and transparent manner.
What information do we collect about you and why?
The data identifying you that is stored and/or processed within Air Consult is almost exclusively limited to information that you yourself have either already supplied to Air Consult about you or your colleagues, or may supply to us in the future. This may include:-
- your name
- your workplace and/or personal email address
- your workplace and/or personal telephone and mobile contact numbers
- your workplace physical and/or postal address
- your job title
- other personal details you actively supply to us or are sent to us (e.g. your email server may reply to us with details of your absence from your office if you have programmed it to do so)
We store and use such data for communications with you.
Contact details provided by a third party
Occasionally we may receive your contact details from a third party (e.g. a colleague may include you in copy of an email they send to us). Whenever we are in receipt of such an email, we will initiate action to bring your attention to our Privacy Policy and confirm with you your consent to our storage and processing of such personal data.
Information from other sources
On rare occasions, we may obtain such personal information from public records if required. This may be used to approach you to explain about or services but any such approach would request you to confirm that you consent to our use of your data for communications with you.
How will we use this information?
The sole purpose that we store and use such information is in connection with Air Consult's business as consultants to our customers and normally solely for communications with you. Your personal data will never be used for sales, marketing or profiling purposes.
Who will it be shared with?
Your data will only be divulged on a need to know basis to consultants working for Air Consult. They understand that the data is controlled for this purpose and are required not to disclose any data to any third party unless you provide prior specific authority.
How will we keep your data secure?
We will not share any of your information with third parties anywhere, for any purposes. Your identifying data will be kept securely, regardless of whether the information is in electronic or physical format, using leading technologies and security measures to safeguard your information and maintain security standards to prevent any unauthorised access to it.
Your consent
As you provided some or all of the above such above data in your messages to Air Consult and we have been communicating using them, this has been accepted as your positive action and consent for Air Consult to be in possession of the said data you have supplied and your agreement for us to store and process that data for the purposes defined above. Where your data has not been passed by you to us, your positive confirmation of your consent shall be requested and obtained and if denied, your data will be deleted from our records and you will not receive further communications from us.
How long will we retain your data?
No longer than it is considered necessary. Annually we will review the data and if we have not been in communication for two years, we will securely delete your data unless we have a specific reason not to do so, in which case we shall communicate this to you at that time.
Your rights
You have the right to:-
- Be informed how we use and store your personal information
- Request us to provide to you your personal data that we hold. Any such request shall be answered within 21 days
- Request inaccurate personal data is corrected
- Request we securely delete such data where there is no legitimate interest for it to be retained by us. Our response to such requests shall be made within 3 working days
- Object to your personal data being processed
- Withdraw your consent where we hold data as a result of you providing consent
- Complain if you are unhappy with the way we have used your data. Please see the procedure below. We shall respond within 3 working days of receipt of any such complaint.

Changes to this policy
The policy will be regularly reviewed and should this involve any increase in uses to which the data may be put, this shall be notified to you in advance of any such changes.
